Ready to make a difference? By joining Printing Impact as a volunteer, you can turn the idle time of your 3D printer into something truly meaningful. Help us create items for local charities that will bring joy and support to those in need—whether it’s toys, household items, or custom creations.

There are no time commitments or production quotas. Simply join our team, print in your spare time, and contribute however much you can. It’s a flexible way to give back to your community, and every item you make brings us one step closer to changing lives.

How does it work?

  2. Submit your form below

  3. Once approved we will send you an invite to our slack channel

  4. Each campaign will have a list of suggested STL’s to print, or you can choose whatever you’d like, as long as it’s applicable to the charity!

  5. After the campaign is over, a time will be organized to come and pick up your items

  6. Sit back and enjoy the feeling of knowing you made a difference in the life of someone

 FAQs

  • Currently we are only accepting makers from the Greater Vancouver area.  If you are outside of this region and would still like to participate please submit a form, and we could expand to your area next!

  • Yes, funds permitting! We aim to cover the costs for all of our makers, but can’t guarantee it.  We will be able to let you know before you start printing for us though.

  • For our active members, we would love to help out here, funds permitting, but cannot guarantee this.

  • Towards the end of the campaign we will schedule a pickup time for one of our drivers to come and collect your items. If you are able to drop them off to another maker that would also help us out.

  • No, you can print whatever you’d like, assuming it’s something the charity would need. We will have a collection of specifics models to get you started though.

  • No, although we would like to minimize the number of pickups to save on costs.

  • Of course, that would be great! We would aim to cover the cost of gas, funds permitting.
